BANS Review Part II: Installation and Performance

In Part I, I did a basic overview of the product and its features.  In this one, I want to walk through a basic installation of the product.  I have to admit, I am impressed with the installation process and the ease of use.  Very simple.

Keep in mind that there are 2 manuals:  the installation manual and the user manual.  For the installation manual, the steps were simple.  You can watch this quick video that outlines how I walked through the steps on an actual install on CompareAllComputers.com.

1. Pick the country’s files of where you want the products to come from.
2. Upload the files
3. Adjust the permissions of one of the files.
4. Setup a MySQL database.
5. Complete the steps on the screen.

Few scripts are as easy to use as this one.  No doubt.  Once you get the basics done, it is time to work on the store to get it customized.  And, all of that is done from the backend panel.  There are 14 fields to fill out that relate to your store’s niche and preferences.

Seriously, as you can see, it only took me 5 minutes to install and another 15-20 minutes to customize the store.
