Matt Bacak is-as many of you know-a self made millionaire; having won his success and wealth at the young age of only thirty years old. Not only did his lifelong struggle to reach past his own learning disability win him the title of bestselling author for his books on marketing and promotions, but he also became the e-Biz radio show host for Entrepreneur Magazine as well. Bacak began his first business at the young age of 12, not letting age or his learning disability stand in his way. Since then, he has grown into the hugely successful internet marketer, motivational speaker, and promotions expert that we all know-offering his story of success to fellow struggling entrepreneurs to help them find success as well.

Matt Bacak began his journey to the success he now owns in his life through challenges even at an early age. In elementary school, Matt had problems reading and focusing in class, and after being taken to a psychologist; was diagnosed with having a learning disability, dyslexia. On top of this, the psychologist ascertained that his high iq probably contributed to the learning disability problems he was displaying in school.

Though his parents knew that their son was exceptionally intelligent-as evident through his above average iq, they were not so sure about the diagnosis of dyslexia. It was a relatively new disease at that time in the 1980s, and studies were not completely conclusive on what symptoms were evocative of its condition.

Moreover, when Matt Bacak’s teachers wanted to move him to special classes for learning disabilities; his parents refused, and instead, chose to try to teach him at home in addition to normal schooling, to teach him in the way his brain would process the information. His parents educated themselves on all they could about learning disability and tried different means of getting the concepts across to their son. Simple exercises such as turning his book upside down or placing cellophane on his brain were implemented in order to try and figure out the characteristics of Matt’s brain and learning style. They tried everything all to rub out the negative stigma of learning disability from Matt’s education, and teach him in a manner that he could best learn.

Next, his parents tried tape recording school curriculum books on subjects like math to see if this would reach him, and it was met with success. He, with the help of his parents, continued on in this way for all of his schooling-getting learning help all the way into college. Aside from this double time education that filled his schedule, Matt also turned to his passions for boxing, football, and wrestling. Not only did he find success at all of these, but they were a great outlet for all the frustration and hard work he endured all his life-having been victim to a learning disability. His fortitude in sports won his the Alabama Golden Glove in boxing at a young age.

The never give up despite the odds mentality that his parents had taught him and showed him through their fierce commitment to his learning, stayed with him as he began his career towards his one ideal: becoming a millionaire by age thirty. His first business project he began with the use of simple marketing pamphlets that he passed out wherever he could to advertise his seminar program. As is true of many first attempts at something, only three people showed up for the class, but he did not give up as many people discouraged, might have. Instead, he pushed on, determined to find his success.

And after a few more stumbling blocks, he found it in his internet marketing empire that he built with hard work, determination, and a huge learning curve.
